Anti-Racism Campaign

I had initially wanted to have Malaysia as my target audience but, decided as racism is a global issue I would target it globally. A friend's story back in Malaysia had actually actuated me into creating this campaign.

My friend's ex boyfriend got stabbed to death because he was Chinese and was dating a Malay girl. His death was unjust and his murderer got away with no repercussions.

The message was to stop racism for one day. If it was possible to do it for one day, it will be possible to completely stop racism. This is in support of Peace One Day. Malaysia's national tourism agency promotes the country as "a bubbling, bustling melting pot of races and religions where Malays, Indians, Chinese and many other ethnic groups live together in peace and harmony". Even though a majority of the country still lives in racism. I believe that everyone should embrace each others cultures and differences and look past a person's skin colour.

The Brief:

Produce a campaign to inform, educate and persuade an audience of your choosing to become involved in the ‘Peace One Day’ cause.
